Acceptance of terms
By downloading, installing, or using OTeva, or by browsing this website, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the software or this site.
The software
OTeva is provided as a local-first desktop application. It is currently distributed in a pre-release, demo capacity: features, screens, and behavior described on this site reflect a working demo instance and may change before a general release.
Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for the accuracy of patient information entered into OTeva and for complying with applicable healthcare recordkeeping and privacy regulations in your jurisdiction (for example HIPAA, the Data Privacy Act, or an equivalent).
- You are responsible for securing the device OTeva runs on, since all data is stored locally on that device.
- If you connect a third-party AI provider, you are responsible for holding a valid account and API key with that provider and for complying with its terms.
- You are responsible for keeping backups of your data (Settings → Backup & Restore); OTeva does not maintain a remote copy.
AI-drafted content
Report sections drafted with AI assistance are starting points, not finished clinical documentation. A qualified therapist must review, correct, and approve every AI-drafted section before it is finalized or relied upon. OTeva and its authors are not responsible for clinical decisions made on the basis of unreviewed AI-drafted content.
No warranty
OTeva and this website are provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the authors of OTeva shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the software or this website, including loss of data stored locally on your device.
Changes
These terms may be updated as the product moves from demo to general release. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
